Introduction
_
Ross was always told he
was the best, he knew he wasn't the best. He reminded himself, to be the best
you must beat the best. He owns a small shop of everything in the town of
Baldcrest with Eliza and Elenor.
Chapter I - Request
_
Ross was at his counter top
waiting for a customer which rarely happens. Waiting for customer, a man in
fine clothing, a bow tie and a black suit with his cane arrives. Ross in
surprise belt out
"Welco-"
Before finishing, the man stopped Ross and gave him a letter. Bid farwell to Ross and his workers. Ross immediately opens the letter.
"Mr. Ross Lyciano, this is the president of Baldcrest. As you might know this is a request letter. May I warn you this is a big request and is merely a request. You might want to turn back now and throw this away."
Ross laughed and continued reading in thirst of lods of money.
"I hope you aren't going to turn back now cause this might burden you. Now, I have signed you up for a big detective work. You have to investigate a rape & murder case. All other detectives are busy with their respective cases. No free others, I had to find you... Oh well, come to Nion's Bar by 3.00PM, don't be late. I'll still be here at the bar whether you refuse or not. I be here for 20 minutes and no less, no more. ~Mayor"
Ross stared at the letter in shock. Elenor asked "What's up with it Ross?"
Ross replies "Elenor, an adventure I say! Eliza, keep an eye on the store, I'll be back. In about, a month, a year, a decade? See ya!"
They began their short walk to Nion's Bar.

Chapter II - A'greed'ment
_
Ross and Elenor entered
the bar. A poor clothed man waves his hand at them. That was the mayor in an
old rag. He immediately speaks
“Hello Mr Ross, glad for you to come, not too late I see. Anyways, I hope you don’t turn back now.”
Ross smirked, gave a hand sign to continue.
“From the letter I am pretty sure you know what’s this for. This is a rape & murder case of Roslyn Corrosis. A clerk at a big company in Baldcrest if you heard about it. Though rape cases are often that’s why I’m putting you in the case.”
“Before doing this, do you pay?” Ross cuts in.
“100 000, 200 000, 300 000. Depending on your way of working that is”
“So where is my next destination Mr Mayor?”
The mayor told Elenor and Ross the location and gave them a map of Baldcrest. They thank the mayor and left.
Elenor cuts in on Ross’s happy walk to the location,
“Erm, Ross, I have a bad feeling about this that it will be long. Very long.”
“Like my phallus, but I promise you, we will earn big on this round.” Ross said in a laughing matter.
They continued their adventure, waving and greeting some people they knew.

Chapter III - Ride to Far End
_
They arrived at the
location and the area seems to be deserted but they can hear animals. Horses,
pigs, cows, the usual of what they here at a farm. A man in clean overalls
comes out from his shack. “Welcome to
Roger’s farm! I believe the mayor sent you here.”
“What if I was a customer here for you veal or beef?” Ross questions.
Roger chuckles “I got no customer mister detective, this is my private farm. Anyways, I know you are here for a riding machine? Well, no cars or trucks for you here. Mayor told me to give you my best horses. You better not scar them. They are at the back of the barn. Watch your steps.”
Elenor & Ross proceeds to the back. Ross almost fell in shock of all the chicken poo. Roger chuckles.
“This stallion is mine eh? Loving it! Thank you Mr Farmer.” Ross wanted to ride on its saddle, his eyes was locked at the cute small horses and Roger realised it.
“These ponies? These are my little ponies. No one touches it, no one looks at it.” Roger cuts in.
“Looks like we got a badass over here. We shall be going Mr Roger. Sorry to bother you.” Elenor apologizes.
They departed with the horses to the far end of Baldcrest.

Chapter IV - Fog
_
Making their way to the
end of Baldcrest marked on the map, it was surprisingly far. The horses stopped
at random moments to take a drink in a clean puddle or a water source. Suddenly
a huge fog came in. Elenor & Ross lost direction and separated as they
could hear either one.
(Elenor & Ross splits)
Ross continued his journey upfront and arrived at the end of Baldcrest. Seems to be another village with all the different materials used to make the buildings. He still could barely see anything else in a distance because of the fog.
He heard a scream and panicked. As he couldn’t see, the only thing he can do is follow the noise. He banged into a wall of a house and he knew the scream was from that house he banged into. He quickly grabbed the metal scrap on the ground and smashes through the window noticing the scream faded quick during that panic.
He jumped in from the broken window avoiding the broken glasses. He saw the most terrifying thing he could ever imagine. He tried to hold in his hurl while turning his back on the foul image. Ross manned up and faced the image. It was a dead lady clearly raped and murdered like what the mayor explained.
Ross knew he almost met with the murderer at that very moment this new murder and rape happened when Ross was at the spot of action! The lady was stripped and raped; the murdered could take the shouting of the lady and slit her throat. Blood scattered everywhere; Ross ensures the murderer is not skilled and might have killed her in panic. He jumped out of the window and waited for Elenor’s arrival.

Chapter V - Neighbourhood Killer
_
A few minutes passes and
Elenor hasn’t arrived yet. Ross decided to investigate the other houses.
Ross whispers to himself, “Now, I don’t think anyone lives in this foggy area, I can’t even find myself in anywhere. I must mark this house.” He took out his chalk and marked an ‘X’ on the ground in front of the window.
As Ross wanders in the fog to find another house, he realised an open door with blood leading out. He peeked through and saw a glimpse of the victim he saw. He just realised that when he entered, he broke the window which is very loud, even louder than a lady’s scream; the murderer could have easily escaped from the front door in that struggle of Ross. He marked another ‘X’ at the door steps.
He hears footsteps and saw Elenor with his horse.
“The fog has cleared up slightly Ross. I can see you.” Elenor shouts.
“SHH! Be quiet Tyson, the murderer might still be here.” Ross whispers to Elenor.
“What makes you think of that Ross? *sees blood trail* The murder scene?!” Elenor tries to whisper.
“Elenor, I told you to shush!” Ross whispers loudly.
Ross & Elenor hears footsteps coming their way. Ross gives hand signals to quiet and back up a wall of a house. In the fog they can barely see the man but they obviously know the man coming their way slowly is wearing a long white coat. As the man walks by the house of the murder, Elenor jumps and pins the man on the back.
“Wha- What are you thinking mister?!” says the mysterious man.
“What do you know about the murdering around here? Are you the murderer?” Ross speaks.
“Let me go, I am a doctor for god sakes!” the man says.
“I am terribly sorry mister doctor!” Elenor apologises in panic.
The doctor stood up, cleaned his long coat and picks his groceries up he brought with him. “That’s Dr Spencer Robles for you and you owe me eggs!”
“I’m sorry Dr Robles I am pretty sure you know about the murderer of Baldcrest? He was here a moment ago! I heard a scream in the house behind me. When I entered the house, a lady was dead in there. Stripped, rape, murdered.” Ross explains to Spencer.
“Rose?! Oh dear god.” Spencer ran into the house.
He gasped and asked Ross “What brings you here, man?”
“I was assigned to this case of rape & murder by the mayor of Baldcrest as a detective.” Ross answers.
“Okay Mr Detective, how to you think the murderer came and exited the house?”
Ross explains in embarrassment “Uh actually, I know how he went out. I was the one who broke the window, leading him out the door.”
“A detective eh? Not skilled enough aren’t you?”
“Actually, it’s obvious, he entered the house while it wasn’t closed at all, victim got surprised & the murderer locked the door. As I broke the window, he panicked and like his previous victim, murders them. He then ran away from the scene as I entered. Though I haven’t see the other victim yet.” Ross gives explanation.
“Great job detective, you let the murderer escape without a trace.” Spencer said in anger.
“At least we can investigate now. Fingerprints, hair, anything left in the house by the murderer.” Ross said in eagerness.
“While you are at it, I’ll bring some test tubes and cotton buds to take blood samples from the victim and the splatter.” Spencer added.
“Let’s investigate the outside first Elenor.” Ross told.

Chapter VI - Big Mistake
_
Elenor took the back of the house and Ross took the front. Ross spotted some really fresh bloody footsteps fading away in his escape. That theory changed Ross’s mind about the way of escaping by the murderer. In that deep thought Elenor barges in “Ross! Come here.” Ross heads to the back and see some bushes. “Look here Ross. This paper.” Ross picks it up and reads it.
“Veluxuar strikes.”
“What does that mean Tyson?” questioned Ross.
“No idea Ross. It might be a random flyer.” Doubts Elenor.
“No impossible Elenor. A flyer would have a colourful and interesting face on it. Take a look.” Doubts Ross.
Elenor took a look and in shock he said “My god! This is plain paper, handwritten!”
“Exactly, I too have a thing or two to show you Tyson.”
As they head to the front, Dr Spencer arrives with his medkits and testing stuff. “So anything found my detectives?”
“This handwritten paper and something I need to show you two right away and my new theory.”
They head to the front door & Ross showed them the prints.
“This, my colleagues is bloody footsteps. I haven’t checked on the doors yet but here is my theory on this finding. He might have barged in on the victim and immediately raped her. In that part of my accident, he might have already slit her throat, trying to get the other body parts. He panicked and might have spilled some blood on the floor leading him to leaving the house with bloody footprints. Dr Spencer, I believe you know the victim of this case?”
Dr Spencer answers immediately, “Yes detective, she is Rose Klaire. A common patient in my clinic”
Ross wonders “Is she frequently sick or even recently ill?”
“Yes she is, why?” Dr Spencer asked
Ross thought his other theory might be too early to judge.
Dr Spencer cuts in Ross’s thought and asked “You are a detective, but why are your clothing like an old rag?”
“Oh I’m sorry doctor, I haven’t introduced myself. I am Ross Luciano, a shopkeeper in the central Baldcrest. Business is not good there. This is my fellow assistant, Elenor Tyson. The mayor signed me and Elenor here for this case.” Ross explains.
Dr Spencer gave a smile and said “I almost thought you were here by free manner. An impostor I could say. The fog is building up again. You might want to come into my house or you want to continue the investigation?”
“Let’s go Ross. I’m pretty beat up.”
“You go Elenor, I have business here to clean up.” Ross tells Elenor.
Dr Spencer & Elenor disappeared in the fog.
Ross turns back at the house and continues investigations

Chapter VII - House of Nightmares
Chapter VII – House of Nightmares
Ross firstly checked on the door he wondered about before. As he thought, a lot of cracks but it might not be the murderer’s doing. These cracks might be old. He noticed a huge bent in the door which implements an elbow to the door.
“There are fresh traces of wooden splinter everywhere so that’s how he escaped. He might have tried opening the door, forgetting he locked it, got mad and forces it.”
Ross checked whether the door was locked and it was. He thought it was enough and realised the fog was clearing up. He decided to find Dr Spencer and Elenor.
He was not content about the results he got in the house so he turned back and reinvestigate. Now he entered the house. Avoid most views of the body he checks around the body.
He then found a pen in the left hand of Rose Klaire, the victim! He immediately took out the handwritten flyer and compared to the pen colour and size. Without touching the pen, Ross tries to identify the ink the pen is in its bloody form. It was black, the ink used to write down the handwritten flyer as well.
Ross, by his hunch, he thinks he knows the case. He wandered around to find Elenor & Spencer.
“Ross!” yelled Elenor.
“No time Tyson, we have to get to the other murder site.” says Ross.
“I thank you for the comfort Dr Spencer even if it’s not.”
“Where are you going detective, with that rag you are wearing?” Spencer says.
“I have no time to change; we have to go before he or she strikes.”
“Oh no you don’t, come here. Lemme give you this old suit I had when I was a chump like you. Be sure to keep it clean.”
Ross quickly changes to his new outfit. He thanked Dr. Spencer and took his horses with Elenor back to Baldcrest.
